Gold Quarter Eagle
We see a wide range of ages and conditions of the gold quarter Eagle nearly everywhere we go. There may only be a small selection of superior examples which we see on some excursions however they seem to have felt a relative increase in value most recently. These observations are based on our recent sources giving an indication that gold coins are selling a bit quicker than they were this time last year.
Historically desirable the gold quarter Eagle was the result of the design work of William Kneass who eventually had worked his way up to the position of chief engraver of the United States Mint. The overall concept is recognizable with the classic appointments of the eagle and olive branches.
