20 Dollar Gold Coin

Well we had spent the last few weeks out on the road actually a mix of business and pleasure. We had visited with several friends and hit lots of estate sales along the way more on that to come.

While we were gone we wanted to mention several instances where Larry had the opportunity to buy and sell several 20 dollar gold coin pieces. Some of these he knew were coming but some where a complete surprise imagine that. You know the kind that just happens to walk in the door when you least expect it kind of thing.

One of the really exciting finds was a 1906s Liberty 20 dollar gold coin which had been previously graded and Larry was able to second the opinion AU+ it had been purchased recently from an estate sale before the sale even happened as is the luck Larry frequently tends to have. Actually it is more of a skill which is certainly easy to pick up on if you know him. I believe the weight was 0.967 oz. pure gold if I remember correctly. This one was definitely investment grade and sold well before we had the opportunity to get an in person look at it. Larry had some buyers lined up already. Congratulations!

While we were gone they had also purchased a couple of 20 dollar gold coin pieces at the same time which they said looked to be in uncirculated condition but we did not get a chance to see them either unfortunately.

Other than that we had managed to purchase a nice 1926 20 dollar gold coin a St. Gaudens Eagle gold coin. Nice overall condition with some wear around the edges but still overall nice. As the market has been lately this piece should sell very quickly.
