1913 Gold Coins
The 1913 gold coins include several coins which have been professionally graded. Popular coins from this period include the 1913 Indian Head Quarter Eagle.
We have seen some lovely $2.5 dollar examples of these gold coins, as well as $5 gold coin pieces in excellent condition. Many of these which have not been graded do appear to be in nearly uncirculated condition.
The unconventional raised designs of the two and a half dollar as well as the five dollar gold coins of the period where considered to be quite fascinating and they still are today. This incuse design is rather ground breaking in a sense when you look at them from the perspective of the public in 1913 and consider what they were used to with the other coins of the time.
